ARION CHOIR
Arion Choir
We invite you to join the Arion Choir of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in London. Although the focus is the study and presentation of sacred music, quality secular and traditional folk music in Greek and English is also encompassed into our repertoire.

Get Involved
The choir is comprised of women and men from ages 18 to 82 who are dedicated and willing to learn and work together. Vacancies are always available. No musical experience required.
Christmas carols, kalanda and diverse music in Greek and English are performed in concerts throughout the year. These take place in seniors’ residences such as Chelsea Park, Glendale, Middlesex Terrace, Mount Hope among many others. Concerts are also given in the church hall at various times with donations that have been given to Robarts School for the Deaf, Wellspring Cancer Centre and Merrymount Children’s Centre. In addition, a donation of $10,000 was given to the church from the choir through a sing-a-thon.
Gowns have been purchased by each member and remain the church’s property when one leaves the choir for whatever reasons. A choir book has been designed with the appropriate music by the choir director and in turn, the choir sings A Capella although a keyboard is used at times for clarity of tone. All expenses for books, paper and incidentals are donated by the choir members themselves. We welcome new members, as brothers and sisters in the service of our Lord. Your gift of being a choir member contributes approximately a minimum of 150 hours of volunteer time yearly which is equivalent to one week throughout the year!
